What?

Many of our Muslim families are having difficulty in meeting their weekly house expenses. In many cases they are single parents looking after children or families in trouble.

This project aims to assist the needy families to meet their basic expenses or just try to make ends meet to survive.

How?

Families are screened by the agents providing this service. A needs assessment for elegibility is established for families who require long term or short-term assistance.
Assistance is given to deserving families by providing a monthly grocery parcel.

Further assistance in regaining the family's financial independance is provided.
As soon as the family can meet their expenses another needy family on the list will take up their place.
